“The Covid-19 pandemic has ushered in unprecedented changes in our learning methods. It has also given a big push to digital learning in the education system. Even though the worst of the pandemic seems to be behind us, hybrid learning, i.e. a blend of both offline and online teaching will be the new normal. We are seeing a big thrust on vocational training and skilling, which is the need of the hour, and will help us develop a stronger and skilled workforce,” the celebrated life coach and content creator said.
Vanitaa was speaking as the guest of honour at the launch of new skill-based courses for students of Shree Mahavir Vidyamandir Trust B. Ed College and VT Poddar BCA and Commerce College. She lauded the colleges for introducing the new courses and said they would help the students develop new skills and pursue better livelihood opportunities.
“Vocational training has become more important than ever. Anyone pursuing a practical and skill-oriented course is already at an advantage compared to others who are not,” she stressed.
The seven certification courses launched include Creative writing, Life skill education, Foundation course for competitive exams, Basic accounting tally, Basics of Python programming language, and Communication skills / Personality development. (Seventh course?). More such courses are in the offing.
