First Tata Harrier SUV rolled out; launch likely in January, 2019
The spectacular Tata Harrier price, launch date have been revealed, as per the latest news from Tata Motors. Today was a significant day for Tata Motors Harrier as the first finished SUV rolled off the manufacturing line. The carmaker has officially revealed Tata Harrier SUV, which is set to be launched in India In early 2019, possibly in January, 2019. Tata Motors Harrier SUV will be rolled out of its production line in the Tata Motors' Chakan plant, near Pune.
Tata Harrier SUV will compete with Jeep Compass, and Hyundai Tucson and will be based on company's new OMEGARC platform. The booking for the car has already started.
“We have been receiving a tremendous response from the customers ever since we opened bookings of the Harrier, a fortnight ago. With the all- new assembly line ready and the roll out of the 1st Harrier, we are now gearing up to start deliveries in early 2019. The Harrier, with its stunning design will definitely appeal to customers. We are confident that the Harrier will set new benchmarks in the SUV segment, in 2019,” said Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors.
Tata Harrier bookings have already started and the amount concerned is Rs 30,000. Tata Motors Harrier price is still indicative. Harrier SUV will be priced between Rs 16 lakhs (base model) to Rs 21 lakhs (top-end variant).

The completely new world-class assembly line has been built in a record time of 6 months with the best manufacturing practices adopted from Jaguar Land Rover. It boasts of 90% automation levels with over 100+ KUKA and ABB robots.
