India raises customs duty on 30 items in retaliation to USA's tariff hike
In a retaliatory move to US' hiking tariff on certain steel and aluminium goods, India has raised customs duty on 30 items. The items include Bengal gram, lentils and artemia, imported from the US. The import duty hike would be effective from August 4, the Finance Ministry said in a notification.
