Indian markets open in green, Sensex gains over 200 points

BSE Sensex gained over 200 points in early trade on Tuesday, to 28,106.02 points.
NSE Nifty climbed nearly 40 points to 8,653.85 points.
At 0944 hours the 30-scrip index quickly climbed over 200 points and was trading up 203.36 points or 0.73%.
On BSE the top five gainers were Gujarat Mineral Development Corp (6.62%), Delta Corp (3.95%), Jubilant (4.74%), Eclerx (3.79%) and Aiaeng (3.13%).
Among the losers were Polaris (1.25%), Procter & Gamble H&H (1.11%), Care Rating (0.98%), First Source Solutions (0.83%) and NIIT Tech (0.69%).
The rupee recovered 7 paise to 67.11 against the US dollar in early trade session.
