The recruitment process is on for Indian railways' arm, Western railway. Official notification has been issued by the railways, where the vacancies are out but only for the sportpersons. The interested and eligible candidates can apply before 6th February 2020. The candidates can start applying for the jobs from 7th of January, they will get paid according to 7th Pay Commission salary system.The candidates can apply through online.

For Level 1 posts, a candidate should be 10th passed or ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or OR 10th passed plus ITI OR 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Signal & Telecom Departments). For level 2 post, maximum 50% marks in 12th required if the candidate belong to general category, where it won't be required in case the candidates belongs to SC / ST / Ex-servicemen / Persons category. Maximum 40% marks in the higher qualifications like, Graduation, Post Graduate from a recognised University required for persons With Disabilities (PwBD) candidates belonging to any category.
