COVID-19 Coronavirus Cases India: In a landmark achievement, India has administered more than 1.13 core COVID-19 vaccine doses yesterday. This feat has been achieved thrice in the last 11 days. The country's COVID-19 vaccination coverage surpassed the cumulative figure of 69.90 crore, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) informed.

The MoHFW informed that as on September 7, 2021, more than 69.51 crore (69,51,79,965) vaccine doses have been provided to States and union territories so far through the central government's free of cost channel and through direct state procurement category. Further, nearly 78 lakh doses (77,93,360) are in the pipeline. Also, more than 5.31 Cr (5,31,15,610) balance and unutilized COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and union territories to be administered. Source: PTI
