Eye Watch: Eye Watch Mobile App
The Eye Watch Railways app has been developed by RPF of Western Railway in collaboration with Eyewatch Technologies Pvt Ltd and was launched last month. This app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or from Apple iStore. With the help of this app women commuters can send out their locations, video, and audio to the RPF Control room at the times of emergency.
WhatsApp Sakhi Group- 9004449698
Through this WhatsApp group, the women commuters can easily connect to the RPF lady officers for women safety while travelling by train on the Western Railways.
Talkback system in Ladies Coaches
Talk Back system will allow the ladies commuters to alert the guard in an emergency situation. This system is quite similar to that used in Metro Rails.
CCTV cameras in Ladies coaches
The Western Railways has installed CCTV cameras in the ladies coaches to ensure the safety of women commuters.
All India Security Helpline number 182
This security helpline system has been launched by Indian Railways through security controls of Railway Protection Force (RPF) for providing round the clock security-related assistance to the passengers across the country, and will particularly provide safety cover for women in distress.
