In Pics: Emirates Airbus A380 turned painted in World Cup colours for Virender Sehwag
With about two months left for ICC World Cup 2019, Emirates has revealed its special A380 livery in the build-up to one of the world’s most-anticipated sporting events. Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag and Emirates-sponsored Lancashire team players Saqib Mahmoud and Tom Bailey marshalled the newly emblazoned aircraft out of the Emirates Engineering hangar in Dubai. The images of the their journey were shared by Emirates on its Twitter handle. These cricketers were accompanied by Emirates Engineering staff, who had worked on installing the decal.

According to the Emirates website, A380 travels to 50 destinations and has carried about 150 million passengers since 2008.
Virender Sehwag in World Cup:
Virender Sehwag was part of India's World Cup winning squad in 2011 and formed a formidable opening partnership with Sachin Tendulkar. He has also represented India in 2003 and 2007 ODI World Cups.
