Uri vs Thackeray vs Simmba Box Office Collection till now: Here's how the films have performed

The year 2019 has been good for the film industry and movie lovers. In the first month itself, three films have won the hearts of viewers. The success of Uri and Thackrey at the Box Office proves that content is the new king in Bollywood. Whereas Simmba, which was released towards the end of 2018, has created a history for director Rohit Shetty.

Uri: The surgical strike was released on 11 January 2019. It earned Rs 8.20 crore on its opening day and Rs 35.73 crore on its opening weekend, end of week one Rs 70.94 Cr and tje over all collection of Rs 170.52 crore as per Bollywood Hungama. Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri is stilling roaring at the box office. The movie is running ahead in its 3rd week and is still adding more money to its kitty.

Whereas Thackeray which was released on 25 January 2019 earned Rs 2.75 crore on its opening day, Rs 10.50 crore on its opening weekend and Rs 15.20 crore at the end of week one, The movie earned Rs 1.60 crore on Thursday and has the overall all earning of Rs 31.60 crore at the box office.

However, Simmba, which was released on 28 Dec 2018, had earned Rs 20.72 Cr on its opening day and Rs 20.72 Cr on its opening weekend, end of week one was Rs 150.81 Cr and stands with an overall collection of Rs 239.87 crore. Rohit Shetty's Simmba broke the record of Rs 100 crore-club in just five days and is still running in its 5th week.
