Here is what gave boost to Sensex to jump around 700 points, Nifty 50 above 15100 mark

Both BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 opened higher today, the former reclaimed 50000-mark, and the latter goes past 15000-level. At around 11:50 am, BSE Sensex is currently 50,191.47 up 610.74 points or 1.2 per cent, while Nifty 50 is currently trading at 15,107.40 up 184.25 points or 1.2 per cent.
Of 50 scrips, 46 advances and 6 declines intraday Tuesday. Out of the top five gainers, today intraday two are from the Bajaj group and two from Tata group. Power Grid (up 4.5 per cent), Bajaj Auto (up 4.1 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 4 per cent), Tata Motors (up 3.8 per cent) and Titan (up 3.6 per cent).
Similarly, on the back of mute quarter four results, Bharti Airtel turned out to be the biggest loser in the 50 stocks list on Tuesday, the shares of telecom company are down around 1.5 per cent, followed by ITC (down 0.5 per cent) and Grasim (down 0.4 per cent).
In sectoral indices, Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal surged most on Tuesday intraday by 2.75 per cent and 2.42 per cent respectively. Meanwhile, the market, mostly, being lifted by the banking and financial stocks, in this regard, Nifty Bank is trading above 34,001.80, 1.5 per cent higher Tuesday intraday.
Meanwhile, other banking and financial indices such as the Nifty Fin Service and Nifty Private Bank each as re trading above 1.5 per cent, whereas, Nifty PSU Bank above half per cent on Tuesday intraday.
All indices are in green, except Nifty FMCG. The index is trading flat during today’s session.
Broader markets such as Nifty Mid and Small-cap outperforming the benchmark indices are trading around 2 per cent higher during today’s session.
