IPO Update
Shyam Metalics: The initial public offering of Shyam Metalics & Energy that opened for subscription today was subscribed 0.37% by 12:00 pm. The price band of the issue has been fixed at Rs 303-306 per share. The subscription will close on June 16, 2021. Shyam Metalics seeks to raise up to Rs 909 crore through the issue.
Sona Comstar: The initial public offering of auto component marker Sona BLW Precision Forgings (Sona Constar) that opened for subscription today was subscribed 0.04 times by 12:00 pm. The price band of the issue has been fixed at Rs 285-291 per share. The subscription will close on June 16, 2021. The company seeks to raise up to Rs 5,550 crore the issue. This is the second-largest IPO in terms of size after PowerGrid InvIT in 2021.

BHEL: Hits 10% lower circuit and trading 12.27% down. The state-owned has reported a standalone loss of Rs 1,033 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 (Q4FY21). It had posted a loss of Rs 1,534 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year (Q4FY20).
DLF: The real estate company has reported a consolidated profit YoY of Rs 481 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a consolidated loss of Rs 1,858 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Sun TV: The Tamil-language general entertainment channel has reported a 99% YoY rise in the standalone profit at Rs 450 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a profit of Rs 250 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Adani Enterprises: Hits 10% lower circuit and trading 11.25% down. National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) has frozen the accounts of three foreign funds, namely Albula Investment Fund, Cresta Fund and APMS Investment Fund, which collectively own shares worth Rs 43,500 crore in four Adani Group companies. Besides, the company has formed a subsidiary, Adani Cement Industries Limited, to foray into the cement business.
HCL Technologies: Up 0.08%. It has appointed Siki Giunta to lead its cloud consulting and offering strategy.
Kellton Tech: Down 1.53%. Reports consolidated YoY profit of Rs 19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021, compared to Rs 14.5 crore posted last year. Sequentially, the company reported a profit of Rs 22 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2021.
PNB Housing: Down 5%. Impact of Carlyle deal as Sebi will probe PNB Housing Finance’s Rs 4,000 crore deal with a group of investors led by private equity firm Carlyle Group after a proxy adviser said the deal is unfair to the mortgage lender’s minority shareholders.
