From Pay Matrix, Pay Band, Grade Pay and Pay Level - it's important for a central government employee to know one's pay under the Seventh Pay Commission structure. It will help him or her to know for sure that all benefits are being taken without losing out on any of monetary entitlements. However, it's also important to know whether these benefits apply to an employee or not.
