Kisan credit card good news! This state to issue cards to 12 lakh farmers
Amid farmers protest and recent violence witnessed in Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day, this state has big news for the farming community. Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has decided to issue PM Kisan credit card for the farmers of the state.
This move of the state government will benefit nearly 12 lakh beneficiaries of Uttar Pradesh. This comes after Narendra Modi government had recently released the seventh instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
Kisan Credit Card: Who Can apply
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh government has already prepared Kisan Credit Card for 1.53 crore farmers of the total 2.43 crore beneficiaries, while nearly 90 lakh farmers have been lined up for KYC application. The beneficiaries of the PM-Kisan scheme can also apply for issuing of Kisan Credit card by completing the KYC formalities. Source: PTI
Kisan Credit Card: How to apply
Step 1 Visit the official site of PM Kisan Yojana (pmkisan.gov.in).
Step 2 Download the Kisan Credit Card form from the website.
Step 3 Fill this form along with the documents of your arable land, details of the crop.

Kisan Credit Card Scheme: How can it be obtained
KCC can be obtained from any co-operative bank, Regional Rural Bank (RRB). Banks like SBI, BOI and IDBI Bank issue Kisan Credit Card. National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) issues RuPay KCC. Source: PTI
