Google Play Awards: Nine apps secure top positions in various categories
Google I/O is the annual developer conference that the tech giant organises every year. On the eve of the Google I/O event, Google announced the winners of the Google Play Awards, which acknowledges Android applications and games. The categories are based on various criteria such as overall quality, strong design, technical performance, and innovation. Nine applications secured the top positions in various categories, including Standout Well-Being App category and Best Breakthrough App category.
Standout Well-Being App

Tick Tock by Other Tales Interactive, won the most inventive application. Apps and games that have a groundbreaking new use case and cater to a unique audience, or demonstrate an innovative application of mobile technology for users was the criteria to be nominated for the category.
