As per the revised date sheet, the CBSE class 10 board exam is slated to commence from May 4, 2021 and will continue till June 7.
The CBSE class 10 board exam candidates must note that like Maths, Science is also very scoring subject. The subject may seem to be difficult for certain students but if proper techniques in preparation are followed, a better understanding of the subject will develop which will help in securing high marks in the board exams.
The CBSE class 10 Science exam is scheduled to take place on May 21.
Here is the topic-wise marks division of Science for the CBSE class 10 board exam students.
Unit 1 - Chemical Substances - Nature and Behaviour (26 marks)
Unit 2 - World of Living (23 marks)
Unit 3 - Natural Phenomena (12 marks)
Unit 4 - Effects of Current (14 marks)
Unit 5 - Natural Resources (5 marks)
20 marks is allotted to internal assessment.
The assessment areas are as follows:
Demonstrate Knowledge and Understanding - 46 per cent
Application of Knowledge/Concepts - 22 per cent
Analyze, Evaluate and Create - 32 per cent

In order to get good marks in the Science examination, the following tricks can prove to be useful for the class 10 CBSE board exam candidates:
1) Revision - The students must revise the topics regularly which will help them to remember the topics better. The students will also be updated with the topics if they revise the subject regularly.
2) Sample papers - Solving sample papers on the subject will help the candidates to get an idea about the type of questions. This will also aid them in their time management.
The CBSE class 12 board exams are scheduled to start from May 4 and will continue till June 14.
