It is not the case that market has seen a big growth from the previous year, though the rally from the lowest levels have been significant, he further said.
Though, some stocks have benefitted the most, he said.
Singhania said that he expected 2021 to be a good year for markets. He said that it cannot be predicted if it will be better than 2020 or not. But the current indicators and the tailwinds suggest that 2021 will likely be a good year for the markets, he averred.

On likelihood of Market Correction
Singhania said that correction was a way of life in the markets and rise and falls are usual phenomenon. Over the last 2-3 months, no appreciable correction has been witnessed by the markets, he observed. Since August, there has been no major correction, the Abakkus Founder said.
He was of the view that in the event of a market correction, the trends will be short and swift. This means that there could be 5-6 per cent correction, which will be over in 2-4 days. There will not be a long and deep correction scenario, Singhania said.
Even the current correction in Nifty has been 6-7 per cent from the top level. As for individual stocks, a 10-20 per cent correction has been see in the last 1-2 days.
His advice to investors
Investors should set targets while taking positions, he recommended and added that caution is required.
